Kristen has a Masters of Social Work (MSW) in Clinical Specialization and has several years focussing on overall Mental Health and Wellness in addressing mood disorders including anxiety and depression both with individuals and couples. Her multi-faceted approach highlights the link between our psychological, biological and social constructs. This lens supports the unique individual, their genetic makeup and their overall surroundings. Kristen tends to focus on emotional regulation presenting Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) as well as linking thoughts, emotions and behaviors through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Kristen has completed her Level 1 in the Gottman Method Couples Therapy to assist couples in working through challenges with communication and developing skills necessary manage conflict, deepen friendship and intimacy, and share their life purpose and dreams.
