Ama holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Essex, graduating with Merit in September 2023, and an undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto. With a strong background in mental health promotion, and program and event coordination, she has worked in various roles supporting mental health advocacy, equity, and patient engagement. Her experience includes coordinating programs and events for youth mental health across Canada, managing health promotion initiatives, and fostering partnerships to improve access to inclusive mental health services. Passionate about mental health equity and patient-centered care, Ama is dedicated to making mental health support more accessible and inclusive for all. In her free time, she enjoys watching soccer, going to the gym, and spending quality time with loved ones.
