Holding a degree in International Development and Globalization from the University of Ottawa, she brings a wealth of experience in supporting diverse communities. Fluent in both English and Somali, Fahma is able to connect with people from all walks of life. Throughout her career, she has worked in both the non-profit and healthcare sector where she played a key role in community development, youth engagement, and mental health planning. Her strengths lie in community organizing, mental health research, and building partnerships that create lasting impact. Fahma is dedicated to creating inclusive spaces and ensuring mental health support is accessible to all.
